The Dog Days of Summer - already

It's only early July and already it seems like the dog days of summer... I guess because of this unusually long stretch of summer heat. We vancouverites are just not used to this! Next up are the tomatoes and beans. The peas are pretty much done like dinner... the arugula is bolting... the roses are waning and the squirrels are keeping their tummies full with baby zucchinis and other goodies from the garden - the little buggers.
