Is this weather great or what? Hope everyone is enjoying our lovely September... reaping the fall bounty... and wondering what films they will see in the upcoming Vancouver Film Festival.
I thought it might be fun to experiment with creating a blog for our community garden. I haven't done a blog before so please be patient - I'm still experimenting. I hope to make the time in between working, gardening, knitting, running and playing with my dog 'Bicky' to tart up the blog and have it ready for the 2009 season. Your feedback, suggestions and contributions would be well received.
I think a blog is a great way for garden members to communicate, share tips and tricks, and of course publish all our yummy garden photos. I would be happy to keep it updated.

Hi my name is Robyn and I have just done a three day juice cleanse and have a bucket full of compost which I’d love to find a home for. It is too much for me to give my worm and it pains me to put so much food waste in the bin. Could I come and use your compost bin? I live in Kitsilano on Vine and York.
I’d need to drop it off today or tomorrow ideally before I starts to smell.
